01. If, while browsing through the records of my own Company on the MCA portal, I find certain errors in the data, how do I intimate?
To correct the master data of your company(s): Click on the "View Company Master Data" link under the "Other Services" link on the homepage of the MCA portal. Take a print out of the master data and make the necessary corrections on the print out. Submit the same to the concerned RoC office along with valid proof for getting the corrections done.
02. How do I use the view public documents facility on the MCA portal. Which documents are available for public viewing?
You can register yourself on the MCA portal and click on the "View Public Documents" link to view the documents of the specific companies available for viewing to public pertaining to specific company(s). Once you add the company(s) to cart, you will be prompted to make the payment of Rs. 100/- per company.
03. How do I apply for certified copies of the documents? How will I receive the certified copies after I have applied for the same?
You can avail this service by using the Get Certified Copies service. Once you make the necessary payment, your request will be routed to the concerned RoC. You need to approach the concerned RoC office along with the stamp paper of the requisite amount for getting the certified copy of the documents.
04. Can Stamp duty be paid electronically?
Presently, the stamp duty cannot be paid electronically. However, the new amendments made in the Stamp Act are expected to help address this issue with the use of appropriate technology in the near future.
05. How do I find the CIN of the company?
You can find the Corporate Identity Number (CIN) by entering the company name or registration number in the Find CIN page under FO Services tab under the MCA Services tab on homepage of MCA21 V3 portal.
06. How do I request for Certified Copies?
You can make a request for certified copies and make payments through the options given. After making the payment, you are shown the address of the RoC for collecting the certified copies.
07. How do I enquire for fee on the portal?
The user can inquire the fees applicable for various eForms, certified copies or inspection of documents through the fee calculator provided under FO Services tab under MCA Services without logging in.
08. How do I track the status of my transaction?
On entering the Service Request Number (SRN), the user can track the status of the transactions made. In case you have done the filing through your own User ID, then you can track the status through the "Track Transaction Status" link available on the homepage of the MCA portal.
09. How do I track the status of the transactions done at PFO?
In case you have done the filing through the PFO (Facilitation Centre), then you can track the status through the "View Transaction Status PFO" link available under the "Other Services" tab on the homepage of the MCA portal.
10. How do I know the payment submitted at a bank branch has been confirmed to MCA?
The user can track the status of payment made to MCA by entering the SRN in the "Track Payment status" link.
11. Should we require to get the DSC for all the designated partners?
Yes, it is mandatory to have a DSC of all the designated partners.
12. Is it mandatory to register the DSC of designated partner on the portal?
Yes, it is mandatory to register the DSC of all designated partners on the MCA portal by creating their user ID or if already registered then register the DSC under the existing login ID.
13. What is a Service Request Number (SRN)?
Every request submitted on MCA portal is identified by a unique number known as the Service Request Number (SRN). It is a nine character alphanumeric string starting with an alphabet (A-Z) which is printed on the top left hand side of a Receipt or Challan. Please note down the SRN for all future correspondence with MCA.
